Bobbie J. Hubbard, 78, of Denton, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2010 at her home. She was born September 24, 1931 in Earth, Texas to Vester Lee and Eurah Sybil (Cobb) McCool. She was married to Walter Jack Hubbard on May 6, 1950 in Decatur, TX; he died September 13, 2008. She was a homemaker and a member of the Gateway United Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, January 25, 2010 at Gateway United Baptist Church, with Rev. Buddy Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 24, 2010.

Mrs. Hubbard is survived by two daughters, Connie Hubbard of Denton, Beverly Boyd of St. Petersburg, FL; two sons, Joe Hubbard of Denton and Billy Hubbard of Denton; a brother, Keith McCool of Mansfield; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Terry Hubbard.
