Blanche Eugenia Peabody, age 85, died on Friday, March 20, 2020 in her home in Prosper, TX.  She was born on December 26, 1934, in Alpena, Michigan, the oldest child of Joseph and Rose Grzendzicki.  She married Eric Earll Peabody on August 14, 1957 in Monterey, California.  Together they raised five sons.  Blanche and Eric had been happily married for 55 years when he died in 2012. In 2018 her beloved son Bobby passed away.  Blanche was a lifelong Catholic.

She is survived by her sons: Joseph and wife Loan, Lawrence and wife Becky, Alva and wife Denise, and Daniel and wife Terina.  She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Janita Peabody, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.   She is also survived by her brother Thomas and his wife Linda, of Alpena, Michigan, and sister Sally (Mrs. Konstantinos Giannakopoulos) of Kensington, Maryland.

Friends may pay their respects at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home705 N. Locust in Denton, on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Due to the current health crisis, the funeral will not be public.
