Birdie Lorene Lynch Bragg was born August 30, 1940 in Lake Dallas, Texas. She passed away to join the Lord on November 18, 2024 at the age of 84. Birdie was the second child of Lonnie and Myrtle Garrison Lynch.

Birdie loved her family, flowers and onions. She retired from the Denton State School in 1997. She enjoyed spending time with her sister, Edna Newton playing games.

Roy and Birdie married September 1960 in Denton, Texas. They had three children; Vickie Metcalf of Gordonville, Texas, Donald Bragg of Gordonville, Texas and Donna Bragg of Shady Shores, Texas.

Birdie is survived by her husband Roy Bragg; her children Vickie Metcalf, Donald (Fanny) Bragg and Donna (Dale) Bragg. She had many grandchildren she loved.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Lake Dallas, Texas. Visitation will take place at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 North Locust Denton, TX, on Friday afternoon from 4-6 p.m.
