Billy Ray Ward, 69 years old passed away August 30, 2024, after a sickness due to pneumonia and other health issues. He was born December 3, 1954, in Denton, Texas to Leon Buford Ward and Maybell Estelle Turner Ward.
A lifelong resident of Denton, Texas Billy graduated from Denton High School and worked at Denton Record-Chronicle for 11 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Billy is survived by his brother Jeff Martin Ward and sister, Martha Ward.
