Billy G. Carroll, 83 of Argyle, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2011 at the Atrium Medical Center. He was born December 12, 1928 in Waxahachie, to Edd and Coleta (Biggs) Carroll. He attended Public Schools and was a member of the Gateway United Baptist Church. He was married to Mary Anne Boyles on August 20, 1960 in Irving, TX He was retired from General Motors Assembly Plant as a Line Operator.

Mr. Carroll is survived by his wife Mary Anne Carroll of Argyle, daughter, Cynthia Anne Kelley of Argyle, sons, Charles David (Sam) Carroll of San Antonio, and William Patrick (Pat) Carroll of Ponder, sisters, Helen Waldrum of Irving, and Marie Castleberry of Watauga, Six Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Gateway United Baptist Church Chapel, 2401 N. Bell Ave. Denton, with Rev. Buddy Owens, officiating. Burial will follow in the Prairie Mound Cemetery in Argyle. The family will be at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St. Denton for visitation on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.
