Billy Merle Campbell, age 84, passed away Tuesday, September 4 ^th in McKinney Healthcare and Rehabilitation, in McKinney.
Billy was born June 28 ^th , 1934 in Pilot Point, TX to W.O. Campbell and Murrell Campbell.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Richard M. Campbell. He is survived by one sister, Jerry Ann Campbell Self, her husband, T.J. Self, Jr along with numerous nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Joshua Micheal Campbell, Jennifer Elizabeth Campbell and Jerrod Patrick Campbell; great-grandchildren, Rian Mackenzie Campbell, Emma Elizabeth Klinger, Case Michael Campbell and Tinsley Joy Moss.
Bill loved God and his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He loved reading his bible and preaching the word to anyone who would listen. He also loved music, fishing, leather working and saddlesmith. He really loved when the great grandchildren came to visit.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 7, 2018 from 6 to 8pm at Mulkey-Bowles Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton followed by graveside services Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 2pm at Prairie Mound Cemetery in Argyle.
