Billie Joyce Patterson Lawson, 82. of Hurst, Texas, passed away on March 5, 2016, at HEB Hospital in Hurst, Texas. She was born January 2, 1934 in Sanger, Texas to Van Pat Patterson and Gladys Gist. She married Arnold Thomas Lawson in Gainesville on March 4, 1950 and they had four children. She is survived by her four children, Velinda Richeson of Burkburnett, Texas, Rickey Lawson of Denton, Cathy Driscoll of Hurst and Van Lawson of Dallas ,Texas. Two sisters, Bonnie Jo Bland of Denton and Naomi Sissie Taylor of Valley View. Nine Grandchildren and ten Great Grand Children. She retired from Bell Helicopter in Hurst, Texas. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Dad, Mother, Sister Shirley Whitfield, Brother bobby Patterson, and Robert Driscoll. Visitation will be March 9, 2016, from 6PM to 7PM at Denton Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside will be Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM in Sanger, Texas.
