Billie Faye Bridges, 81, of Lake Dallas, died Monday January 30, 2012 at Denton Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Bridges was born on November 9, 1930 in Paris, TX to Alvi D. and Laura Mae (Crowley) Carroll. She was married to Wayne Oliver Bridges on March 14, 1957 in Dallas (he died on January 14, 2003). She graduated from SMU with a Masters degree in Computer Science. She worked for many years at Honeywell and AART. She was president of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post # 10460 in Lake Dallas for several years.
Mrs. Bridges is survived by her son, Wayne Allen Bridges and Sandye Dawn
Pickel-Bridges of Lake Dallas; sisters, Dorothy Jones of Dallas, Doris Caskey of
Waukegan, IL; three grandchildren, William Smith, Katherine Smith-Bridges, Amanda Faye Bridges; one great grandson, Quenturius Smith.
