Betty Salas Wilkerson, 88 of Denton, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Denton Regional Medical Center. She was born June 4, 1924 in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Crescencio and Marianciana Martinez Salas. She was married to Linden Lee Wilkerson for forty eight years until his death on December 6, 1994. She was a jp,e,aler and a member of the Pentecostal Church.

Mrs. Wilkerson is the mother of Michael Wilkerson, deceased, and is survived by one daughter Diana Burrola and husband of Marietta, Oklahoma sons, Tony Wilkerson and wife Carol of Atlanta, Georgia, Ritchie Wilkerson and wife Susan of Forestburg, and Rodney Wilkerson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; sister, Dora Baca of Las Vegas, New Mexico; brother, Benny Salas of Las Vegas, Nevada; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great- grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service and burial will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 7, 2013 at the Old Shiloh Cemetery in Flower Mound, TX with Rev. Sam Redfearn, officiating.
