Obituary

Betty Rupp Steinmetz, of, Denton, passed from this world March 8, 2018 to unite with the Lord Jesus Christ. Born on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1933. Betty opened her heart and her home to many.
Betty was a pioneer for women in business. In 1979, she founded a small local company, Triangle Temporaries, until her retirement in 2005. The company remains within the family being operated by the third-generation. Even after her retirement, she continued to help those in need and her legacy continues to impact many lives.
Betty was a faithful member of Denton Bible Church for over ten years where she served in Senior Life Ministries for seven years. She and her husband ministered at Cottonwood Nursing Home for the Sunday services. She was an active member of HaYesod Bible Study; also active at New Life Church and Cross Timbers Church.
She is survived by Gary Steinmetz, her loving husband of 13 years; her children; Gayle Kuhrt, Philip Rupp, Bert Rupp and their spouses; her extended children; Michael, Michelle, Mandy, Mark, and their spouses; many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Services will be held at Denton Bible Church, 2300 E. University Dr., Denton on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 10am followed by interment at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.
