Betty Lee Richmond, 81 of Denton, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Longmeadow Care center in Justin. She was born August 21, 1932 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to John and Daisy Agnes (Driggars) Kinsey. She was married to Eugene J. Richmond on November 17, 1967 and he passed away on March 22, 1999. She was a retired Secretary.
Mrs. Richmond is survived by daughters, Dianna Wood, of Argyle, Jeanie Gaines, of Corinth, and Liz Bingham of Ruston, LA sons Lee Wayne Boyd of Springville, TN Chris Richmond of Saginaw, sister, Zella Harris of Denton, brothers, Charles Harris, Decatur, John Diggs, Hot Springs, AR and Jewel Kinsey of Bowie, thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren,and five great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Highland Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Cooper Creek Cemetery.
