Betty Ann Lanier, 76, of Houston, died Sunday September 20, 2009 at Manor Care in Houston.

Mrs. Lanier was born on January 2, 1933 in Fort Worth, Texas to Hobart Franklin and Lucille Jeanette (Kelly). She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Education from Texas Christian University. She was an elementary school Teacher in Arlington, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday September 22, 2009 at Gribble Springs Cemetery, Sanger, TX.

She is survived by her sister, Peggy Sides and husband Bob of Houston; nieces and nephews, Sharon Enlow Dulaney of San Antonio, Mary Jan Enlow Schmieder of Houston, William Ivan Enlow, Jr. of San Antonio, Rob Sides of Austin, Rick Sides of Waco, Jim Sides of Austin and many great-nephews and a few great-nieces.
