Betty Jean Walters Jackson was born to Garland Odell (Bob) Walters and Georgia Alta Walters, April 7, 1952 in Denton, Texas. She passed away at her home in Houston, Texas on October 22, 2014. She was a devoted mother and friend who will be greatly missed. Betty is survived by her daughter, Amy Karyn Blankenship, and son-in-law, Keith Blankenship (Tomball); sister, Ruby Nell Starnes (Denton); brothers, Curtis Dale Walters (Argyle), Jerry David Walters (Austin) and Glenn Paul Walters (Forestburg) along with many nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, sister Doris Lynn Timmons and brothers Bobby Dan Walters, Weldon Mack Walters and Richard (Dickey) Joe Walters. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Denton Funeral Home, 120 South Carroll Blvd, Denton, TX 76201. Burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery, 3801 Roselawn Drive, Denton, TX, 76207.
