Obituary
Betty Ann Fifer Harper, 77, of Denton, died Monday, October 24, 2005 at her home.
She was born July 16, 1928 in Tyler,TX to William Herbert and Azalee Melissa (O'Neal) Fifer. She attended Public Schools and Texas Woman's University. She was married to Mack Howard Harper on August 2, 1947 in Denton. She was office manager for Russell-Newman, Inc. and retired after 30 years. Betty later worked several years for FEMA. She was a member of the Friendship Church of Denton.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday October 27, 2005 at the Friendship Church, with Rev. John Stout officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM Wednesday October 26.
Pallbearers will be: Kenneth Harper, Randy Harper, Dennis Harper, Dewayne Harper, Edgar Starr, Don Gray.
Mrs. Harper is survived by her husband of 58 years, Mack Harper of Denton; two sons Gary Harper and his wife Sue and Jason Harper, all of Denton; a sister, Maurine Starr of Tyler; and five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren, ten nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents, a sister, Billie Faye Fifer Mitchell and a granddaughter, Kimberly Renee Harper.
Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
