Betty Marie Duncan, 86, of Pilot Point,, TX passed away on December 24, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Duncan was born September 20, 1923 in Detroit, Michigan to Louie and Bessie (Wilcoxin) Ryse. She was married to Jack Wayne Duncan in Gainesville, Texas on February 2, 1957. She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, December 28, 2009 at the LDS Chapel 3000 Old North Road, Denton, Texas with Bishop Trey Martino, officiating. Burial will follow in the Prairie Mound Cemetery in Argyle, Texas The family will have visitation on Monday at the Church from 1:00 P.M. until service time in the Relief Society Room. Mrs. Duncan is survived by her husband Jack Wayne Duncan, of Pilot Point, Texas Daughters, Donna May Townsend, of Irving, Texas and Deanna Kay Ivy, of Grand Prairie, Texas, two sisters Juanita Hunter, of Lawrence, Kansas, and Kathrine Patkowski, of Florida, a brother Roy Ryse, of Eugene, Oregon, and five Grandchildren Eleven Great Grandchildren and Two Great Great Grandchildren.
