Betty Lou Burchett, age 80, of Argyle, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 13th peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. Betty was born in Celina Texas on December 22, 1934 to James and Opal Shaw. She married Roy Burchett in 1950 and together they raised 7 children.
Betty was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed making dinner for her family every Sunday and always made sure she had an extra place at the table for unexpected guests. In her spare time she also enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, and visiting with countless friends and family members.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy, her sons, David and Eric, two grandsons as well as many other loved ones. Betty is survived by her daughters, Belinda and Tina, sons, Chriss, Darren and Farren. sons-in-law and daughters in-law, 17 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 15th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Denton, TX. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am on December 16th at First Baptist Church in Argyle, Texas.
