Obituary

Betty J. Baker, 88 of Denton, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at her home. She was born February 22, 1924 in Texhoma, Oklahma to William H. and Iva Lee (Ellis) Mulkey. She was a graduate of North Texas Demonstration High school and had worked for the First State Bank for Twenty-Eight years and PBX and Receptionist. She was married to Jessie Freedman Baker on June 27, 1942 in Denton. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church.

Mrs. Baker is survived by her husband J. F. Baker of Denton, two daughters, Betty Glasscock of Denton, and Linda Abrams and husband George of Argyle, two sons, Dale Baker and Wife Barbara of Runaway Bay, and Olan Baker of Farris, sister Iva Nell Evans of Brownwood, brothers C. P. (Laddie) Mulkey of Denton,, and Barri Joe Mulkey fo Krugerville, Eight Grandchildren, Thirteen Great Grandchildren and Four Great Great Grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, October 25, 2012 I the Central Baptist Church, with Rev. Bob Joyce, and Rev. Paaul Shelton, and J. F. Norris, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Trinity Cemetery. The family will be ath the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton on Wednesday, October 24., 2012 for visitation from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M.
