Bess (Houchin) Buckley, 71, of Denton, died Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. She was born April 24, 1936 in Gainesville, to William E. and Mandy (Harvey) Houchin. She was married to Thomas E. Buckley on December 20, 1972 in Denton. She is the Retired Manager of the Buckley Oil Company in Dallas, and also a member of the Methodist Church.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, June 14, 2007 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, with Rev. Eddie Schafer, officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery, in Krum, TX

The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday June 14, 2007. Memorials may be made to the ALS Association of North Texas, 1231 Greenway Dr. Ste. #270, Irving, TX 75038.

Mrs. Buckley is survived by her Husband Thomas E. Buckley, a sister and brother in law, Billie J. and Marvin Crabb, of Denton, sister in law Toni Arnett, of Lubbock, five Nieces, Debbie, Cathy, Brenda, Karen, and Mary Jane, and a nephew, Randall. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Thomas Houchin, and nephew, Terry Don Houchin.
