Bernice Odom Hunt, 80 of Denton, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at the McAlester Regional Health Care in McAlester, OK.  She was born September 12, 1928 in Frisco, TX to Homer Austin and Marion Jessie (Cole) Pittsinger.  She was married to Willard Odom, who died in 1967 and Alfred Hunt, who died in 2004.  She was a member of the Pioneer Valley Baptist Church and she was a Homemaker.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 13,2009 at Oakwood Cemetery in Denton, TX  Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home,  705 N. Locust, Denton, TX is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hunt is survived by three daughters, Marie Bishop, of Canton,   Alice Hillard, of Decatur,  and Geneva Ritchie, of Sanger,  a sister, Lena Boyer, of Denton, and a brother Raymond Pittsinger, of Sanger,  Six Grandchildren  Ten great grandchildren, One great great grandchild.
