Bernadine Cooper, 92, of Denton, died Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at Denton Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 11, 1914 in Diagonal, Iowa to Rolley R. and Maude V. (Nichols) Bailey. She is a member of the Cherry Hills Community Church in Highlands Ranch, Colorado and the Eastern Star. She is a Homemaker. She was married to the late Theo Phillip Cooper on September 8, 1933 in Des Moines, Iowa.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, May 11, 2007 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, with Rev. Brent Bowen, officiating. Mrs. Cooper is survived by her daughter, Janet Bowen and husband Don, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and son, John R. Cooper, and wife Pat, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, one sister, Charlene Marsh, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and six grandchildren, Brent Bowen, Blenda Bowen, Brad Bowen, Brian Cooper, Traci Church, and Ann Ockert, and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son Thomas C. Cooper.
