Barbara Lena Carter
Barbara went to be with the Lord on Saturday December 1, 2012 after a lengthy illness at the age of 71. She was born in Denton, TX on July 30, 1941.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Emery N. and Willie Fern Carter. A Brother Emery Jr. and a sister Brenda Carter.
She is survived by her sisters; Bonnie Patterson of Piedmont, AL; Betty Carter; Benita Barks; Beverly Kolba; and Jeanene Beck, all of Denton. Carol and husband Jerry McNeely, Rhome,TX. One brother Loren Carter and wife DeeAnna, of Missouri.
Several nieces and nephews and special cousin Catheryn Patten and special friend Joe Herrera.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Shiloh Cemetery in Flower Mound on Tuesday Dec. 4, 2012.
