Barbara Ann Jones, 67 of Sanger, formerly of Lake Dallas, died Friday, June 23, 2006 at Trinity Medical Center in Carrollton. She was born August 9, 1938 in Fort Worth, to Orb and Faye (Page) Kilpatrick. She was raised by her Aunt and uncle, John and Alta Seely in Denton. She was married to Cecil Gower in 1953 in Lake Dallas, he died in 1960, and then she married Edward E. Jones in Lake Dallas, on August 9, 1963. She is retired from the Lake Dallas Independent School District as a Secretary after twenty-three years. She was a member of the Lake Shore Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at the Shiloh Cemetery in Corinth, with Duane McPherson, officiating. The family will be at the funeral home at 705 N. Lucust, Denton, from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Monday, June 26, 2006 for Visitation.

She is survived by her husband, Edward E. Jones, of Sanger, daughter, Julie Jones, of New Waverly, and sons, Mark Gower, of Gainesville, Brian Gower, of Valley View, and Jason Jones, of Sanger, a sister, Betty McPherson, of Ponder, and brothers, Jimmy Kilpatrick, and Weldon Kilpatrick, of Fort Worth, and Grandchildren, corbin Gower, Mario Bastone , Brandon Gower, and Cole Gower.
