Barbara J. Gilbert, 66, of Dallas, died Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Las Colinas Medical Center.
Barbara was born on August 2, 1946 in Dallas to Walter Franklin and Alma (Masch) Gilbert. She worked for many years in accounts receivable for Lee Optical in Dallas. She was a member of the Blue Mound United Methodist Church in Denton.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents. She was survived by cousins in Denton, Houston and California and also by several close friends.
A graveside service will be held at 9:00 AM Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Blue Mound Cemetery in Denton.
