Barbara Kay Fox, age 74, of Denton, TX, passed away suddenly Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Medical City of Denton.

Mrs. Fox was born on July 31, 1948 in Rossville, IL to John and Naomi (Voyles) Sollars. She graduated from Wellington HS in 1966. She also received her Associates degree from Kankakee Community College. She was a retired petrochemical engineer at Akzo Nobel Chemical in McCook, IL.

Barbara is preceded in death by her loving parents. She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Jaclyn Fox of Aubrey, TX; sons, Edward Joseph Fox (Sheree) of Schaumburg, IL, Jason Michael Feltus of Springfield, IL and Jeremy Fox; sisters, Patricia Freed (Les) of Loda, IL, Connie Fredrick (Kenny) of St. Peters, MO, Christine Cubillos of Crest Hill, IL; brothers, Richard Pete Sollars (Teresa) of Rossville, IL, Jac Sollars (Jean) of Oakwood, IL; grandchildren, Jackson Fox, Sr. (Mattavia Ballard), Ethan Fox, Dorian Martin, Declan Rowe, Matthew Colby; great-grandchildren, Jackson Fox, Jr., Madison Fox, Jrake Fox; special nieces, Victoria Miller and Shelby Cubillos.

A funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM Saturday, November 5, 2022 in the chapel of Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton.
