Barbara Lee Diehl, age 76 of Valley View, formerly of Bedford passed away at her residence July 3, 2009.She was born July 13, 1932, in Bath, N.Y., to Harold and Crystal (Grube) Lee.  She married Richard W. Diehl on June 9, 1958. She worked in the homebuilding industry for many years until 1999.  Retirement years were spent caring for her husband, who passed away in 2006 from complications of Alzheimer's Disease.  She was a member of the Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed music, reading, knitting and birdwatching.She is survived by her son Lon Diehl and wife Joanie of Allen, Tx.; two daughters Kim Hart and husband David of Arlington, Tx.; Karen Tidwell and husband Gary of Valley View, Tx.; brother Hal Lee and wife Alice of Newark, N.Y.; and 10 grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.  A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 14, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Valley View, Tx.
