Barbara Ann Burgess, age 70, of Lewisville, passed away Monday, February 11, 2008, at her home. She was born September 7, 1937 in Marlin, Texas to Odie Lee and Lucinda Page Hammonds. Barbara worked as a dispute resolution specialist for MBNA in Dallas for many years. She is survived by her sons, Rusty Williams and his wife, Patty of Shady Shores and Mike Williams and his wife, Sandy of Sunrise, Arizona; grandchildren, Casey Williams, Cayla Williams and Blake Williams; great-grandson, Davin Hamilton; sisters, Mary Lee Ford of Bedford, Ellen Louise Boone of Waco, Shirley Jean Kurtz of Nacogdoches and Jana Shriver of Flower Mound; brothers, John Hammonds of Plano and Billy Jack Hammonds of Terrell. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Rowdy Williams on November 18, 1984; by brothers, Charles Hammonds, Comer Hammonds and George Hammonds; by sisters, Elizabeth Throop and Carroll Jean Garrett and by her former husband, Tommy Burgess.
