In Loving Memory of Autumn Jayne Olsen

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved daughter, Autumn Jayne Olsen. At the age of 19, she was tragically taken from us in a motorcycle accident while coming home from her greatest passion - sharing and teaching music.

Autumn was a ray of light and joy to all who knew her. Her vibrant personality illuminated the lives of so many, bringing happiness and warmth wherever she went. She was an incredibly gifted musician, whose love for music was infectious. She dedicated herself to teaching and sharing her passion, impacting countless lives through her talent and generosity.

A proud and inspiring member of the trans community, Autumn was a source of strength and comfort to many. She courageously stood as a role model, helping others embrace their true selves with confidence and pride and an example to us all.

She is survived by her loving parents, Kameron and Danica, her sister Lyn, her brother Korbin, and her cherished cat Claire. Her memory will also be forever held in the hearts of her grandparents, Cindy and Bob Shepherd, and Kim and Karen Olsen.  Autumn has 16 cousins whom she adored deeply.

Autumn was a social butterfly, always surrounded by friends and fellow music enthusiasts. Her laughter, her smile, and her boundless love filled our lives with immense joy. She was not just a daughter, sister, granddaughter, and cousin; she was a friend, a mentor, and a shining light in the lives of all who knew her.

We are heartbroken by her loss but are comforted by the indelible mark she has left on this world. Her legacy will live on through the music she loved, the lives she touched, and the love she shared.

We invite you to join us in a celebration of her extraordinary life with a viewing on Sunday December 17th 2023, 10 AM at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home at 705 N Locust St. Denton, TX 76201 followed by a celebration of life at 12:30 PM at Rubber Gloves Rehearsal Studio at 411 E Sycamore St, Denton, TX 76205.  Please come and celebrate her life with us in the way she loved most, jamming, listening to music and hanging out with her friends.   We will be wearing her favorite concert t-shirts and ready to jam to her favorite music.  Please come and share stories of her life and happiness she brought into your life with her friends and family.

If you are interested in playing and sharing your music with her and all of us at the celebration of her life please reach out to Melissa Birchett at 469-682-1116.
