Author Truman Pittman, age 63, of Sanger, passed away Tuesday March 15, 2011 in Tallolah, Louisiana. He was born September 13, 1947 in Big Spring, Texas to A.Z. and Lona Mae (Parker) Pittman. He married Gloria Ann Armontroutt May 31, 1974 in Denton. Author was a High School Teacher and served the US Army.
He is survived by his wife Gloria of Sanger; daughter, Christi Edwards of Sanger; mother, Lona Mae Pittman of Grandbury; sister, Delores Foster of Ada, OK; grandchildren, Justin, Austin, Dustin, and McKinzie Edwards.
A funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday March 21, 2011 at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home Chapel, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX. A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday March 20, 2011 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.
