IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Arthur Fred
Early
August 27, 1956 – February 25, 2018
Arthur Fred Early, 61, Aubrey Texas, entered the Gates of Heaven, February 25, 2018 surrounded by friends in Corinth Rehabilitation Suites. Born in West Memphis, AR to Willie Early and Dora Worthan.
Arthur is survived by his daughter Paige Kindle, son-in-law Richard Dale Kindle, Jr., grandchildren Kaydence and Kanyon Kindle, sister Tina Barrett, brother Willie Early and several nieces and nephews. Arthur attended Hendrix College on a basketball scholarship. He earned his BA and had a successful career in retail management. He came to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after struggling several years with a drug addiction. Arthur entered the Denton Freedom House on August 11, 2013 as a resident and has been faithful in serving the Lord there as an intern and staff member for the past 5 years. While serving here, Arthur's heart was to minister to men coming out of addiction and to shepherd them to a life of freedom in Jesus Christ. He is known for his powerful prayers, compassionate hugs, and contagious smile. He is most known around the DFH for his wit and wisdom, affectionately known as "Arthurisms". He could always be seen sitting down with anyone sharing the love of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them. Arthur was a dedicated member of The Church @ Denton Freedom House but enjoyed visiting other churches such as Denton Bible Church, First Rock Fellowship, Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church and many others where he made lifelong friends. Arthur has been a friend, a mentor, a father-figure and a dear brother to many people of all walks of life. Arthur ran his life according to John 7:38, "Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, 'Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.'" Because of the work of Jesus Christ in his life, Arthur, in his words, is "a stream of clean water that God uses to glorify His Name."
