Anthony Dale (Tony) Franks, 38, of Valley View, died Sunday, July 30, 2006 in Springtown. He was born August 27, 1967 in Denton, to Charles Sidney Franks, and Julia Ann Stuckey Franks. He was employed as a Roofer with the Lake Kiowa Roofing Co.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 5, 2006, in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, with Rev. Carl Robertson, officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery at Krum. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 7:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, August 4, 2006.

Mr. Franks is survived by a daughter, Cathleen Ruth Franks, of Denton, and sons, Charles Anthony Franks, and Benjamin Dale Franks, of Springtown, Mother and Step Father Judy and Anthony Garcia, of Krum, Father, Charles Franks, of Gainesville, sisters, Shelly Franks, of Gainesville, Karen Vess, of Krum, and brothers, Wayne Vess, of Krum, Gene Franks, of Springtown, and Gary Don Franks, of Beaumont.
