Anona Broun Giles, 96, formerly of Denton, died Monday, September 18, 2006 at the Hospice House in Burleson. She was born September 12, 1910 in Denton to Ivan G. and Pearl L. (Broun) McCormick. She was married to the late W. V. (Red) Giles. She was a homemaker and a Methodist.
She is survived by her cousin Jim and his wife Marcia Dyche of Keene, Texas and numerous other family members.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 21, 2006 at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pastor Robert Rider will officiate the service. No visitation scheduled.
