Annette Routon Young, born on April 13, 1936, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024, in Denton, Texas.

Born to John and Ruby Routon, Annette lived a life defined by kindness and compassion. In August 1955, she married Troy Young and embraced her role as a devoted Air Force wife with grace and dedication. Together, they built a loving home filled with treasured memories that spanned decades.

Annette was a proud mother to her children Donna, Kelly, and Jeffrey. Her greatest joys came from raising her family and celebrating the milestones of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She found boundless happiness in being a grandmother and took immense pride in the lives of her great-grandchildren, who were the light of her later years.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Kelly (Rusty) and son Jeff (Barbara); grandchildren Ryan (Nathan), Chase (Sally), Scotty, and Kelsey (Cameron); great-grandchildren Landry, John Logan, and Annie and sister Wanda. Her legacy of love continues through the values she instilled in her family and the countless lives she touched with her warmth and generosity.

Annette will be forever remembered as a woman who gave selflessly to those around her—a beacon of love whose memory will bring comfort to all who knew her. May her life serve as an enduring reminder of the power of kindness and family devotion.
