Annabell Wolters, age 91, of Lewisville, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at her home.
She was born May 8, 1915 in Lewisville to William Wilson Sherrill and Henrietta Cobb Sherrill. Annabell married Albert C. Wolters on November 28, 1932 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1972. She was a life-long member of First Presbyterian Church in Lewisville; was active in the Lewisville PTA for many years and was a volunteer for many years at Medical Center of Lewisville. She also helped to begin Ann's Haven Hospice in Denton County; was a member of the Professional Business Women's Club and a member of the Lewisville High School Hall of Fame.
Annabell worked as an officer at Denton County National Bank in Denton.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Ann Duwe of Junction, Texas and Judith Margaret Groening of Plano; son, Bill Wolters of Austin, Texas; grandchildren,
Rick Cunningham, Bryan Cunningham, Mary Crum, Joe Rankin, Karen Hazelwood,
Casey Wolters and Amanda Wolters; seven great grandchildren and sisters,
Willetta Stellmacher of Dallas and Harriett Ogarzalek of Mt. Pleasant, Illinois.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2007, at First Presbyterian Church in Lewisville. Interment will follow in Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville.
