Born in Houston to Paul and Hattie Albrecht on February 7th, 1912, she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and an inspiration to all who knew her.
She combined the loving skills of homemaker with work in the accounting, professional placement, and retail areas. Annabel was active in the Baptist Church, in churches where she and her family lived in: Woodland Heights/Houston, Bellaire, Brenham, Austin, and Denton, Texas. She and her family were also active in the Bellaire Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club and Volunteer Fireman's Auxiliary in Bellaire. In later years, she was a resident in the Renaissance and Vintage senior living facilities in Austin and Denton, respectively, where she was loved by residents and staff for her smile and loving nature.
Annabel is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Curtis Sinclair Wells, Sr.; and brother, Howell Paul Albrecht. She is survived by son Curtis Sinclair Wells, Jr. and wife Elizabeth Ellen; daughter, Carolyn Wells Riegelman; and son, Raymond Lyle Wells and wife Susan Van Noy Wells; and grandchildren: Charlotte Ellen Wells and husband Don Belgau, Christopher Sinclair Wells and wife Karen Gibson Wells, Curtis Allen Wells and wife Joan Tegeler Wells, John Wells Riegelman and wife Natalie Mayo Riegelman, Susan Riegelman Ellis and husband Timothy Mark Ellis, Lyle Wells and wife Rubi Wells, and Hank Wells; great-grandchildren: Rachel Elizabeth Wells, Curtis Moore Wells, Sydney Ellen Wells, Carson Christopher Wells, Katherine Annabel Ellis, Zoey Elena Riegelman and Maya Claire Riegelman.
