Anna Faught Sandstrum, 91, of Denton passed away peacefully on May 23, 2016. Anna was born in Argyle, Texas on August 16, 1924 the daughter of Addison G. Faught and Annie E. Adams Faught. The Faught family settled in the Argyle/Justin area in the 1800's and Anna is the last direct descendant of that family. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, two sisters, and one grandson.
Anna is survived by her husband James "Jim" Sandstrum; her daughter Gayela Bick of Edmond, OK; son Van Jennings of Fort Worth, TX; step-son Bill Estep of Melissa, TX; 5 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday May 27, 2016 at 10:00am in the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home Chapel, 705 N. Locust, with burial to follow in the Prairie Mound Cemetery in Argyle, TX. A visitation will take place from 6-8pm on Thursday May 26 at the funeral home.
