Anna Paulette "Polly" Henderson, 90, of Ponder, passed away peacefully at her home on April 28, 2014. Polly was born in Dallas, TX on January 28, 1924, the daughter of Wallace Ray and May Irene Husung Ray. She married Glenn E. Henderson on October 4, 1941 in Dallas, TX. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Justin Church of Christ.
Polly is survived by two daughters, Glenda Ann Henderson of Corrigan, TX, and Betty Sue Ingram and husband Dave of Ponder, TX; one son, Don R. Henderson and wife Joan of Parlin, CO; 8 grandchildren, Robin Bolduc, Tony Laird, Sheri Woodall, Nancy Henderson, Mike Ingram, Paul Ingram, Tim Ingram, and Pearl Spinharney; 18 great grandchildren, Jessica Henderson Brown, Joe Thomas, Matt Thomas, Heather Guinn, Jake Simmons, Lindsay Laird Mears, Burchelle Henderson, Seth Ingram, Josh Simmons, Jacob Locke, Jeffrey Simmons, Jackson Bolduc, Russell Ingram, Ashley Ingram, Rolle Spinharney, Gabriel Spinharney, Mia Spinharney, Noble Spinharney; 3 great-great grandchildren, Matthew Henderson, Maranda Brown, and Madison Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday May 2, 2014 at the Justin Church of Christ in Justin, TX with Joe Slater officiating, burial will follow in the Justin Cemetery. A visitation will take place on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust in Denton. Memorials may be made to the Justin Church of Christ or Ann's Haven Hospice. The family would like to give special thanks to Sherry Neaderhiser, R.N. and Lisa Imm of Ann's Haven hospice for their special care and attention to Polly.
