Anna Katherine Oliver Dill, born April 14, 1934, in Mobile, Alabama, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025, in Denton, Texas.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall N. Oliver and Eunice Louise Newberry Oliver; her sister, Marsha Ruyle; and her beloved husband of 55 years, Russell Eugene Dill, who passed away in 2009. She is survived by her sisters, Barbara Giles (Mikel) and Eunice Hilliard (Bobby); her three children, Dr. Curtis Eugene Dill (Frances), Philip Jay Dill (Christina), and Katherine Elaine Richeson (Tom); her grandchildren, Megan Dill, Sarah Dill, Hannah Dill, Roy Richeson, Ann Dubose (Brandon),Valerie Holmberg and Zach Holmberg(Danielle); and her great-grandchildren, Elijah Holmberg, Noah Holmberg, Haydyn Holmberg, Ayvree Holmberg, Azariah Dubose and Finn Morrow. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, and their families.

As the daughter of an Army officer, Anna lived in various places during her youth, including Guam and Japan. She attended high school in Japan alongside her mother before graduating from Sunset High School in Dallas. In 1954, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a specialization in Mathematics. That same year, on June 3rd, she married Russell Eugene Dill and began a life devoted to family and faith.

Anna was a dedicated mother and a devout Christian whose kindness and love touched all who knew her. She found joy in reading and solving word search puzzles, simple pleasures that reflected her thoughtful nature.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton, TX. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Park, 3801 Roselawn Dr., Denton.

Anna's memory will live on through the love she shared with her family and friends. May she rest in eternal peace.
