In Loving Memory of Anita Fred Edwards

Anita Fred Edwards passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 80.

Born on December 27, 1945, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Anita was the beloved daughter of Fred and Juanita Jewel Edwards. She spent much of her life in North Texas, including Denton and Fort Worth, where she remained close to family and friends. Anita touched the lives of many through her kindness, generous heart, and the genuine happiness she expressed whenever she was with those she loved. She will be remembered for her warm smile, her loving spirit, and the joy she brought to everyone who was fortunate enough to have known her.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Juanita Jewel Edwards; her sisters, Peggy Hall, Karen Crosby, and Geraldine Turner; and her brothers, Bill Edwards and Harvey Edwards.

She is survived by her sister, Audrey Rumzek of Fort Worth, Texas, and her brother, Don Edwards of Fort Worth, Texas, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.

Though Anita’s earthly journey has ended, the love she gave and the lives she touched will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
