Andrew Joseph Hydock, Sr. was surrounded by the love of family when he passed away on August 28, 2022.
Andrew was born on July 25, 1974 in West Chester, Pennsylvania to Michael and Susan Hydock. He was number four of six in a loud and boisterous family.
25 years later on June 24, Andrew married his "person", Judy Hubble. They became the blessed parents of two sons, Andrew Joseph, Jr. and Matthew LaDale.
Throughout his life, Andrew developed a love for so many things; coffee, coffee cups, sunglasses, Hot Wheels, the list goes on. But he especially developed a fondness for music—specifically the music of singer/song writers like Jack Ingram, Jamie Lin Wilson, Doug Burr, and Sean McConnell. Their music became the soundtrack in Andrew's battle against colon cancer. One song was always the first on his playlist when treatment started. Jack Ingram's "Keep On Keeping On" would become Andrew's motto. He would end every Facebook and Instagram post with #KOKO.
Andrew was predeceased by his grandparents; Dr. Michael and Marie Hydock, George and Margaret Ramaley. Also waiting at Heaven's gate, Andrew's precious mother Susan. One can only imagine the happiness of that mother-son reunion.
Left to remember Andrew with love and laughter; his wife Judy, and his two boys Andrew and Matthew; his pops, Michael L. Hydock; his brothers, sisters, and sisters-in-love, Michael and Julie Hydock, Geoffrey and Amy Hydock, Christopher and Tamara Hydock, Margaret and Kevin Smith, Michelle and Arlin Snyder, Michael and Amber Motsney. Andrew loved and was so proud of his numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Mohamed Qasim and his staff, Dr. Victor Cobos, and Courtney Keefer, BSN for their care during the last 10 years.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you follow Andrew's "in the moment" lead and donate to a person's Go Fund Me, or buy two hot dogs for the homeless person at the gas station. Pay the blessings forward, and as always, KOKO!
Services will be held at Denton Bible Church on September 9, 2022 at 4pm.
