Amelia Rogers, 67, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2021 in Ponder, TX.  Amelia was born in Matamoros, Mexico on July 10, 1953 the daughter of Bacillio Gutierrez and Praxecles (Palomo) Gutierrez.

Amelia is preceded in death by her husband George Rogers who passed away January 7, 2021, and a son George Marshall Rogers Jr.. She is survived by one son Richard "Ricky" Rogers of Denton, one sister, Aurora Gutierrez of Denton, and one brother, Miguel Gutierrez of Brownsville, along with 2 grandchildren.
