Alvin Arthur Olson age 79 of Denton passed away Sunday October 30, 2005 at the Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. He was born November 20, 1925 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Arthur and Ida ( Johnson ) Olson. Alvin serviced in the U.S. Navy during WW II. He was 32 degree Shriner and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Garland. He married Glenda Garrison Loftin November 11, 1989 in Timpe, Arizona. He was a Self Employed Electrical Engineer.

Alvin is survived by his wife of Denton. Daughters Kimberly Simenson and Heide Walker both of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Chelly Mauler of Foney, Gwen Koizer of Denton and Gail Long of Garland. Sons Dale Olson of California, Randy Loftin and Gerald Loftin both of Argyle. Sisters Henrietta Ross and Alberta Haut of Mesa, Arizona. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11:00 am Wednesday November 2, 2005 at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas. Gary Johnson will officiate the service.
