Alvin Theodore Jacobson, 80, of Denton, died Wednesday, January 5, 2022 surrounded by his family at his home in Denton.

Mr. Jacobson was born on September 23, 1941 in Milwaukee, WI to Oscar and Mina (Kellenberg) Jacobson who served as missionaries in Columbia, South America for forty years. He was married to Tracie A. Pain on September 11, 1963 in Thomasville, GA. He served in the United States Air Force and was a member of Denton Bible Church where he had the privilege of being an integral part of Vision Ministries.

Al is survived by his wife, Tracie A. Jacobson of Denton; daughters, Tulisa Ann Billingslea and husband Robert of Kingsland, Sonjia Dee Bradshaw and husband Jerry of Shady Shores; sister, Sherill Albrecht of McKinney; brother, David Jacobson of Cedar Hill; grandchildren, Lauren Talley and husband Carson, George Billingslea, Hannah Bradshaw, Jacob Bradshaw; great-granddaughter, Elliana Kaia Talley.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in the chapel of Denton Bible Church, 2300 E. University Dr., Denton. Interment will be at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
