Alpha Dee Manry Dobbins, 91, of Denton, died Sunday October 5, 2008 at Denton Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Dobbins was born December 15, 1916 in Aubrey, TX to James Monroe and Florence Alpha (Stephens) Manry. She was married to Clarence Cecil Dobbins in Dallas on September 17, 1939. She was a member of the Denton Rebekah Lodge #18, for 50 Years, and a member of the Baptist Church.  She was owner and operator of Dee Ann's Gift Shop before retirement.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 in the Chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home,  705 N. Locust, Denton, with Rev. Cliff Feeler, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Park.  The family will be at the funeral home from 6:00   P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, for visitation.

Mrs. Dobbins is survived by her son Fred Reed, of Denton,  and Grandchildren Ricky Reed, and wife Deb  and Lee Erwin, and wife Tammy, five Greaat grandchildren, and One Great Great Grandchild.
