Alma Jean Pratt Gillespie, 74, of Lewisville, TX, passed away November 17th, 2009. Jean was born July 21, 1935 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Gene and Beatrice Pratt. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 9168. She spent many hours volunteering for various veterans' functions. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a daughter. She is survived by daughters, Shelly Green and husband, Doug of Mesa, Texas and Sherry Adams and husband, Paul of Aubrey, Texas; sons, Randy DeVault and wife, Sandy of Little Elm, Texas and Buster Gillespie and wife, Bam of Ponder, Texas; brothers, Lewis Henry Pratt and wife, Nellie of Haynesville, Louisiana and Jimmy Pratt of El Dorado, Arkansas, as well as, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 19, 2009 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, Lewisville, Texas (972) 436-4581. Funeral service will be 11:00am, Friday in the chapel at the funeral home with Brandon Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Flower Mound Cemetery, Flower Mound, Texas.
