Allen Gilbert Hibdon, age 86 or Denton, passed away, Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at The Vintage in Denton.
Allen was born March 23, 1930 in Rochelle, Texas to Albert and Lorena Milburn Hibdon. He married Annie Pauline, who preceded him in death April of 2001. Allen served in the United States Army during WWII.
He is survived by: two daughters, Paula Arlene Hibdon of Kennesaw, GA, and Pam Kerl and her husband, John of Highland Village. A son, Thomas Hibdon and his wife Brandie of Port Republic, MD. Three grandchildren, John, Audrey, Christian, and a host of friends.
A memorial service was held, Thursday, November 9, 2006 at The Vintage in Denton, Reverend Rodney McClung officiated. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Kenneth Sewell and Mercy Hospice and requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 8900 Carpenter Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75247.
