Alla Jean Miller, 76, of Krugerville, died Friday August 5, 2011 at Cottonwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Denton.
Mrs. Miller was born on August 16, 1934 in Navo, TX to Grover Cleveland and Fannie Bell (Bridges) Denison. She was married to Durward Gerald Miller on August 27, 1949 in Aubrey, TX. She was a member of the Gateway United Baptist Church.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday August 8, 2011 at the church. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday August 9, 2011 at Gateway United Baptist Church 2401 N. Bell Ave., Denton, TX. Rev. Buddy Owens will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Belew Cemetery, Aubrey.
She is survived by her husband, Durward Miller of Krugerville; daughter, Margie J. Cox and her husband Carlos of Aubrey; sons, Gerald Miller and his wife Eva Lea of Bowie, David Miller and his wife Debbie of Sanger, Ronny and his wife Renee of Oak Point; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Jason Sessions and Jordan Miller.
