Alice Elsie Burrell, age 78, of Lake Dallas, TX, passed away, Saturday, September 6, 2008. She was born May 27, 1930 in Monticello, UT to Elwyn and Charlotte Blake. She married Harold Burrell on June 1, 1940 in Durango, CO he preceded her in death in 2003. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Rice of Lake Dallas and Patti Brock-Chapman and husband Roger of Grand Prairie, TX; sisters, Kathryn Edwards of Lewisville, Charlotte Schafer of Cauldwell, ID and Virginia Schafer of Aubrey, TX; brothers, Prescott Blake of Durango, CO, Stanley Blake of Albuquerque, NM and Martin Blake of Paris, TX; grandchildren, Blake Brock and Holly Rice. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at Lake Shore Baptist Church in Lake Dallas. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00p.m., prior to the service.
