Albert Arnold Slovacek, 95, of Denton, died Wednesday May 23, 2007 at The Vintage.
Mr. Slovacek was born on October 29, 1911 in Taylor, Texas to Tom and Annie (Tatalek) Slovacek. He was married to Dorothy Pearl Wagner in Dallas on July 15, 1936. He attended school in Crosby, TX. He worked for Braniff Airlines for 39 years, working his way up from a mechanic, to crew chief, and finally supervisor of quality control.
A memorial service will be at 3:30 PM Thursday May 31, 2007 at The Vintage, 205 N. Bonnie Brae.
Survivors include his daughter, Helen McMurtry of Denton; grandchildren, David McMurtry and Marissa Slovacek. He was preceded in death his wife, Dorothy and by a son, Wayne William Slovacek.
He will be missed so much by the people who love him.
