Agnes Cook Mitchell (GRANO) 97 of Burleson, died Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at the Hospice House in Burleson.

She was born March 8, 1909 in Lucas, TX to Joe Lee and Lennie (Pharr) Cook. She was a graduate of the University of North Texas with a BS in Elementary Education, and was a retired Teacher in the Big Spring Independent School District.

She was married to Arma Gene (Stiffy) Mitchell on August 5, 1934 in McKinney, TX He died July 8, 1983. A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, March 4, 2006 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home from 10 A. M. until Service time on Saturday.

Mrs. Mitchell is survived by two daughters, Robbie Moore, of Houston and Judy Edwards, of Burleson. Fourteen Grandchildren and Thirty Two Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Husband, and son Robert Gene Mitchell.
