Mrs. Adelene Elizabeth Burman, age 82, of San Saba, Texas, passed away quietly at her home on February 23, 2007. She was born on July 30, 1924 in Concord, North Carolina, to Jay Baxter Linker and Jewel Elizabeth Linker, and married Robert Lyle Burman on August 19, 1944 in Princeton, New Jersey. Robert was ensign in the U.S. Navy and veteran of World War II. She is survived by her daughters, Sharyan Elizabeth Watts of Lewisville, TX and Karen Adelene Burman of Austin, TX; sons, Robert Jay Burman and Steven Linker Burman both of Lewisville, TX; a sister, Jewel B. Bethke, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lyle and her son, Reed Harrison Burman. A private family service was held on February 27, 2007, at the Little Elm Cemetery in Little Elm, TX.
